so i decided to overclock my gpu?

Vance44

ok.. so i decided to try to overclock score in thinking if i can get better performance out of my graphics card i could get better performance and render times with video editing

so i also decided to benchmark my gpu using heaven ... this is what i come up with the first set of adjustments .IMG_20191003_061600.thumb.jpg.5dca9e22dc4126b8a3ddcc370f698b3b.jpg.. how is this compared to what some of you might get ?

and the 2nd pic is bumping up a little more but right at the end of the benchmark it seems the gpu crashed bc the fans just turned off or is it suppose to do that when not in load bc i turned the fans on 100% all the time ?

you are using diffrent settings between the two runs.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

So what kind of scores out performance do you get?

This should help with video editing sense it using mostly gpu?

Same settings just turned everything up The only thing that might be different is anti-aliasing it was off in the first run

sorry typo ... so by bumping up the performance in gpu it should help in video editing? but its only going to help if i had a little bit better cpu as well?

I'm almost wondering if it would make any difference if I just ran two graphics cards?

But yes I definitely need to upgrade the CPU

.... The problem I'm having is I can edit okay but the playback and scrubbing is so choppy and can be so slow at times I have to change the timeline to 1080p and change a bunch of settings and even then sometimes it can be a little choppy... It drives me nuts I want more of a smoother timeline scrubbing and playback experience

It would help the editing go a little faster
