Posted August 19, 2019 so i have both i9 9000k and a i5-9400F that i would like to delid.i have both a tull that can delid a delid tool that delids a 8700k cpu will this work to delid both cpus.I also both these 8th gen copper ihs will this work with a 9th gen cpu. i cant seem to fing any 9th gen delid stuff in my v=counrty Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted August 19, 2019 9th gen is soldered. You gain nothing by delidding other than likely a broken chip.
