The Most Unbalanced/Ghedo Rig Eva of All Time

I built this about a week ago and finally decided to make a build log.

Before Upgrade:
CPU: AMD Athlon X2 64 bit      RAM: 1GB DDR2      MOBO: Dell 0RY206

GPU: HD 6450    HDD: WD Black Scorpio 320GB   PSU: Dell 200 watt

First I had to do a case mod to fit the new GPU

Now all I had to do was drop in the new parts

New parts:
GPU:MSI Gaming R9 270  PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 GOLD

But I ran into a slight problem when upgrading the power supply. The clamps that where meant to hold the power supply kept me from mounting the new one, so I bent them back as shown in the next picture.

Power supply fits fine now.

And now for the graphics card

Things that still need to be done to make it less ghedo
-New motherboard
-new CPU
-New/more RAM
-SSD
-custom case

ps: sorry for bad images taken with my phone to show a friend. They weren't meant to be shown here.

double check the cpu compatibilty list before buying a new cpu

also check the maximum number of RAM it can handle

The CPU upgrade, motherboard upgrade, and RAM are happening at the same time, although I might grab a 4GB kit of DDR2 (Max the board can handle) to hold me off until then.

Keep the case, that would be a pretty nice sleeper LAN getup.

Error: 410

I might, I just really hate this case. There's little to no air flow.

It has more twice as much as my entire rig. Luckily, I'm buying a 4GB kit of DDR2 soon!

Nice work! This is actually how I got into PC building with my old hp

With today's technology I often wonder why we don't have colonies on the moon or Mars. Then I go to Wal Mart for 5 minutes and realize the vast majority of the human populace isn't ready for such things.

This is amazing (like the RvB title).

I tried to make it look as good as I could, but it's just such a hard case to work with and not being able to use a color scheme made it not look as good. Hopefully that'll all change when I build the custom case.
