Need help choosing between either Razer or Corsair

Razer or Corsair for getting my PC set up. Razer seems to have more integration and I want something that may possibly integrate into my RGB if I get a motherboard or so with RGB

Razer in general makes shittier products whether it be their cheap feeling cherry knock of keyboard switches, their oversized mice, their low quality headphones Corsair in general makes better products and still has a solid RGB software. In terms of customer support, corsair easily takes the cake with customer support, the last time I ever used Razer is when they refused to replace a broken keycap that broke when taking it off to clean (razers low build quality was at fault), they insisted that "they are not designed to be taken off to clean".

While Corsair isn't AMAZING in my eyes, they make really good PC parts and nice keyboards and mouses to back them up. Razer seems to only care about their RGB and not QC or customer support. I should also add how f*cking overpriced Razer's prouducts are.

idk tbh

I would have gone with SteelSeries they have the most reliable essentials you can find in the market.

I have steelseries mouse now, and had many of their stuff over the years, so no, they don't.

It depends where. For Corsair, you can use iCUE/Link (I forget which is for PC parts and which is for peripherals) to sync up a Corsair mouse, headset, keyboard, RAM, fans, and an AIO. I would argue Corsair have more integration in that sense.

Usually you should go for models and not brands... you'll find good and bad models on any brand.

That said, Razer is garbage, I'd go Corsair in a blink :P

iCUE does everything now, I think it has Link built in if you want everything to work like one big RGB strip, or you set them individually like normal. It can be buggy sometimes if you have say, an Asus board with AURA RGB and then Corsair RGB RAM, the two will fight over who controls the RAM. Aside from that it's pretty decent.

Honestly, I've gone on a keyboard buying spree, is there a specific switch that you like over the others?

Would this be your first mechanical keyboard?

You may want to go for the Glorius GMMK keyboard, excellent value and you can customize it anyway you want. Unless you want cherry switches.

If you want RGB, Ducky or Cooler Master keyboards are the better choices than Corsair ones. Otherwise customize one for yourself with no limits.
