New Ryzen chips - Amazon Prime Day

Welp, silly question. I know the new gen Ryzen chips just came out, but does anyone expect the massive retailer Amazon to have some on sale? I know they are cheap enough as it is, but saving money is always great. I don't care if it's even 10 dollars, but does anyone speculate a price drop? Even if it's only slightly marginal? Perhaps a bundle even, hmm...

I would very much doubt it, if stock is as limited as it currently is in the UK, wherever you are. They usually just use it to get rid of crap that isn't selling normally, out of the warehouses with other offers on some more ok stuff, at least here, anyway. Even then it's often on stuff that they have just put the price up on a few weeks/days earlier to seem like you are getting a better price.

I would doubt it. And if it does go down, you're going to face backorders like no other. Even if there was a $10 drop, I'd rather order at full price beforehand to know I'm actually going to get it.

None of the new releases (Ryzen 3000, RX 5700/XT, RTX Super) will be discounted. I wouldn't be shocked to see some nice discounts on Ryzen 2000, RX 570/580/590 and RTX classic cards, though.

i wouldn't put it past amazon to give 10bucks credit, but not a price drop, doesn't hurt to wait a few days for newer bios anyway.
