Great song btw.

I think I feel comfortable with the 770s 250 ohms. I shall pair them with your suggested amp too. Unless you have a better idea :) I can't have sound leakage. Much love, I hope sometime I will be able to try out open-backed headphones :) I've been very fortunate in life so far, so I'm optimistic.

sounds great the 770's are often praised for their wide sound stage great subbass and sound isolation so sounds peerfect for you I thought hope you enjoy them .

the main differences I find from an amp or dac upgrade is cleanliness and how loud I can get them but new motherboards have gotten so good that they are becomming less and less neccesary. but when I upgraded from amp dac to separate amp and dac I found that bass response gor tighter and better and in general everything just sounded more controlled but thats just me.  that was from a fiio e10k to a monoprice liquid spark and topping d10.

I just checked in my Realtek manager, it says that my motherboard can handle 110 ohms, not bad, but since I have the 250 ohm 770s, I'm excited about the amp. Anyway, does that mean I'm getting quality relative to 770s with 80 ohms right now? Like I'm just curious if that's how it works. It either makes total sense, or it doesn't at all. lol

Not t how it works but I get what your going for. If it was the 80 ohm you would have a louder headphone

Gotcha. Hey, I heard the 80 ohms have more bass right off the bat. But I could just apply an equalizer (like I have rn, omg its so fun btw) and get all the bass I want, right? Like, there's no reason to switch to the 80 ohms just for bass, right?

Yep my preferred way of doing it is using equalizer apo.
