Asus GL502vs thermal throttling. help!

I've been having this problem for a while now. It's been getting progressively worse and worse. I even sent in the laptop to an Asus service center and they said it was fine. Even though after benchmarking and comparing my scores are considerably worse. 

The laptop has a 1070 8gb and a i7-6700HQ. Whenever I play games even if they are at the lowest settings the computer ramps up the fans and gets extremely hot. I get constant thermal throttling to the point of the game being unplayable. I've tried underclocking and undervolting both GPU and CPU and have limited the CPU turbo in the power plan.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
