Lightning 780 with gpu reactor with kraken g10?

Bajantechnician

Since I presume you are a beginner with that kind of budget, may I ask what is your ENTIRE build?

No like the graphics card budget is $750

Can I use the mis lightning 780 and the gpu reactor with a nzxt kraken g10? If not, can I mod it in any way, or are there ones similar to the kraken g10 that can be used with the gpu reactor?

Thanks!!

Limitation of the lightning is the power target not temps.

Well then I'd suggest just having a regular 780 Ti without a Kraken. A decent air cooler would take up less space and cool RAM and VRM much better than the Kraken. Would you consider going without the Kraken?

Well not really. Overall the aircooler will just be fine in the end :)

Is arctic silver 5 thermal paste good?

Yes but I'd go for the air cooler. Liquid cooling is not the best overall. I just depends.

How much power do you think I need (plus a little more for the future upgrades :) )

Well get the best that you can afford. In terms of future, we dont know. Technology can grow slowly or quickly, making top cards obsolete within a few years.

Definantly tone down by ALOT. 650-700 watt is enough.
