Laptop wifi ac upgrade

Hi People

I have a Sony Vaio VPCF24M1E with wifi IEEE 802.11b/g/n. Does anyone know, if i can upgrade to an ac wifi card?

So long as Sony doesn't have a BIOS whitelist for laptop WiFi cards (which seems unlikely but I'm not 100% sure), yes. Any Mini PCIe WiFi card would do fine, including the Intel 7260 which is dual-band and Wireless AC. It is quite difficult to find information on that specific laptop, though from what I did find it is a second-gen Intel based machine.

yes it is indeed a second gen intel machine
i already upgraded the processor from an i5 2450m to an i7 2760qm 
the gpu is a nvidia geforce gt 540m
but i dont think that this information will help you, will it?
