Mid range android device to use along side with my SE. (purchase in Singapore)

I am using an iphone SE right now but I think it starts to feel a bit dated.

 

Where should I buy a mid range android device in Singapore? I am planning buying it without any contracts.

My budget is around 400 bucks. (not sure but roughly)

 

What models do you guys recommend?

also, if you are willing to go secondhand you can get a galaxy S9 for that price.

I have been using iOS since iPhone 4. Every time I went android I went back to iPhone within a year. I am just giving myself a transition period. Second hand s9. I see.

If you want a budget device, and want to buy as new, then the Moto X and Moto G series are really good, also the Nokia 7.1 and 6.1.

I’m not familiar with the android scene. Does xiaomi 9 considered a budget device?
