I want to build new pc with Sentry 2.0 and intel core i9-9940x. Is it okay?

Can i use Asrock X299E-ITX/ac and intel core i9-9940x on sentry 2.0? And which one best cooling for that (not liquid cooler)? I dont want to do oc only just turbo is fine.

14 cores in a Sentry is throttle central, your options are basically NH-L9i, Cryorig C7, and Silverstone AR-06, C7 being the best one, and that thing isn't cooling 14 cores, no sir.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

The 9940X has a TDP of 165W at stock. You're just not going to get adequate cooling for that inside of a Sentry.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

1. Best cooling is Cryorig C7 Cu heatsink with Noctua's NF-A9 (C7's stock fan is just too loud)

 

2. Maybe strong undervolting will help the situation, but be ready to drop frequency and raise AVX offset

tl;dr you dont............

 

get yourself a slightly bigger case that can fit mATX and a larger cooler. still plenty of good cases in that formfactor.

Thanks guys... i think i just give up on this thing and move out to DAN Cases A4-SFX Mini-ITX v4 ?
