It can do 4K for basic stuff like web browsing, minor desktop applications, just basic use. NOT gaming. The 560 is really only good for gaming at 1080p anything higher that cards going to struggle. If you want to do any resolution higher than 1080p for gaming and 3D applications you'll want to upgrade to a better GPU.

Main Desktop: CPU - i9-14900k | Mobo - Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | GPU - PNY Gaming OC RTX 5080 16GB RAM - Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 64GB 6400mhz | AIO - Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360mm | PSU - Corsair RM1000X | Case - Hyte Y40 - White | Storage - Samsung 980 Pro 1TB Nvme /  Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 4TB Nvme / Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB Nvme / Samsung 870 EVO 4TB SSD / Samsung 870 QVO 2TB SSD/ Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD|

TV Streaming PC: Intel Nuc CPU - i7 13th Gen | RAM - 16GB DDR4 3200mhz | Storage - Crucial P3 Plus 1TB Nvme |

Phone: Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra - Black 256GB |

What is the absolute best resolution that an RX 560 can do? I have a 560 and I am on 1080 right now but with radeon software you can do a custom resolution. I can only go up to 1080 becuase of my monitor  but I wonder if you can get to 1300

Depends ENTIRELY on what you want to do. Gaming? I would leave it at 1080p. Your framerate will fall quickly if you increase resolution anymore.

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/

Best resolution is your monitor's native resolution.

Play with the quality settings of your video game to reduce the amount of workload the video card has, if the framerate is too low.

If that's still not enough, go with resolutions lower than monitor's native resolution, while keeping the same aspect ratio ... for example if you have 1920x1080 (16:9), then go with 1600x900 ...  or resolutions that don't make the monitor use rescaler, like for example 1920x800 (2:35:1, simulate ultra wide)

If you need to go lower, you have option in control center to lock the resolution to a fixed one like 1920x1080, but have a different resolution in the game and have black bars around the image.. ex if your monitor does rescaling and you don't want that, enable the option and play at 1680x1050 or 1280x1024 and the image would show up in the center of a 1920x1080 image

ex enable gpu scaling, and then set scaling mode to center, so the video card won't resize the image (if you use preserve aspect ratio) or stretch it to fill the monitor if you select full panel.
