KyiloRen

Using the EVGA 450w Bronze +50 power supply and its insanely loud when playing games, is there anyway i can regulate this or atleast control the fan speeds?

what kind of load is it under? Loud often means hot when it comes to cooling. It also uses a cheaper fan, but still.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Replace it with a PSU that's meant to be quiet?

Seriously, though...  Is it somewhere in the case where it's sucking in a lot of hot air while gaming?  Can you post ANY details about your build so we can possibly help you?

What is the power supply pushing? Can you give us a part list? If it's pushing like 430W (overclocking takes a lot more than you may realize) then you might be slowly killing it.

Ryzen 5 2400g
ddr4 8gb
EVGA 450w Bronze +50 power supply
Rx 570- overclocked and stock speed makes no difference is noise

power supply placed at the top of the case so i guess its pulling out hot air

but my cpu and gpu don't overheat.

Which model is it? There's about 6 different EVGA 450W Bronze power supplies in their current line up alone.
Has it always made this noise, or has it only started recently?

A lot of EVGA PSUs are known for being noisy, so bit difficult to say without more information if it's just a noisy fan in a noisy PSU, or if something else is going wrong with the fan like bad fan bearings or even something stuck in the fan.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

PSU at the top of the case, pulling hot air directly from everything else? Yeah that's not ideal. The way you'd need to reduce PSU temps is to have it breathe fresh air but it sounds like that's not so easy, what case are you using? What exhaust fan size?

Jesus how loud do PSUs get that you can hear them above all the other components?  I've never had that experience and I've used some crappy PSUs in the past.

Very loud.

Some rev the fan up at around 150-200W load and go straight for the 2000rpm mark.

So yeah, there are a couple of rather loud PSU.

get an Enermax Triathlor, the Original one, not the "ECO" or others, FC works as well.

450W is fine.

Then you have experienced a really loud PSU....

I know because I did....

Seasonic G-Series based units are also very loud though at higher loads (300-400W).

I think you just read my model number..I did say that I didn't have an experience where my PSU is loud..And keep in mind I have an old case where PSUs are screwed and placed at the TOP. I'm kewl boi

It's fan speeds are determined by the temperature inside the PSU.

So you could regulate it by

a) cooler temperatures.

b) better airflow.

c) less load.

Clean out your computer, and try position the PSU so it's taking air in from outside the case.

Or buy a quiet power supply.
