I always buy them from eBay for 5-10 euros. Never had an issue.

https://www.kinguin.net/ or ebay if you want cheap, official MS website does not really offer any cheaper keys, just regular prices ~ 145 euros for Windows 10 Home.

Not really, you can always use linux it's free.

That makes... no sense?

200$ is overpriced especially since free alternatives like linux exist. But OP wants a Windows key, so referring to Linux isn't really helping anyone here...

75% of what I say is sarcastic

So is the rest probably

For graphic designers and video editors you have Blender, Inkscape, GIMP, Krita like great software to work with, so yeah Linux is also great! But I think I should buy from cheap Windows key from Ebay or another site who is providing me cheap key!

ask you friend how much is he willing to pay for just an OS, without letting him know the "official" price before hand.

Some may not want to spend a single dollar or hav to have the "legit" cd keys.

I already helped him with that. IMHO 200 is not overpriced.

I would gladly pay full price if Microsoft stopped ruining my experience all the time. Constant updates that fix one thing and destroy 10 others. Constant security problems, latest update even managed to screw up games on Win 10 by adding terrible mouse lag so we had to wait for a hotfix.

Things like that make you go around to find cheaper alternatives.

Well, you should always use eBay with Paypal due to strong buyers protection.

It might be. But do you really need those extra features that cost more? Home version is cheaper, and isn't actually that expensive considering the use it gets. Compared to many other things in PC.

  • 4 months later...

i Genuinely dont understand why everyone buys their keys this and that pays so much money. i literally have a list of a crap load of keys i bought years ago when i started my business, and i still have more to use today. Also, all new computers dont need a key. they have new security .-.
