How often do you dust out/clean your PC?

JOEL791E99

I used to, but i configured my system in a way that not much dust gets in. The exterior i do everyday with baby wipes :)

Comb it with a brick

once or twice a year seems optimal for me.

Having the case of the carpet is the big thing and keeps the temperature a bit cooler too.

every 3 months on carpet, every 6 on wooden floor, once a year if on a table.

really depends on the location, and fan configuration. more air flow, more dust particles in that air.

edit: no have pets, so these values may vary

Inside, once or twice a year, but my mouse/kb and stuff every week or so due to part OCD I have, even though my desk is really messy

Goddamn Malwarebytes expired!!!!

Oh that cleaning context.

Once every month I guess. It depends. I'm a bit of an anti-dust freak so I have air compressor cans and also a fine anti-static brush (intended to be used on modelling kits lol)

I would also like to clean out the dust filter from the bottom of the case, unfortunately its a fricken 800D and it sits underneath my table so I'm not moving that bitch often.

Hitting the fan filters once a week usually prevents me from having to do a regular internal cleaning since I have positive air pressure in my case.

Whenever I am bored and have nothing else to do. I need a new can of air though. I'm all out.

I still have yet to. That's only because I check it at least once a week and it never seems to actually accumulate much dust. Only got it in September though so that may have something to do with it.

My place is quite dusty, I have a Multi-Fuel stove and it create a lot of dust... well more like very very fine ash so I clean every month or 2 but I planning on a new build by the end of the year which will be almost dust free (Very good filters, positive pressure inside and so on) and then my current one will be the server upstairs :D

If I happen to be opening it for some reason, I will usually give it a quick wipe down. Usually I leave it. If I see dust in the rad I blow it out and close my case. Only cleaned it really twice or three times since I built it. C70 has great filters.
