I actually haven't cleaned mine in since its creation (3 months). I periodically check my system because its in the Prodigy M and I expected it to be a dust magnet. The dust filter seems to be doing really well, none of it is getting in and all I need to do is wipe it off the top.

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

Cleaning, what is this that you speak of?

I need to clean mine since it's dusty where I live and I haven't done it in a few months but it's around 3 months I clean it all.

I clean my dust filters every few months or so. My components have remarkably never gotten dusty. I have my old pair of GPU's that I pulled out that have been in my R4 for over a year and came out with barely any dust on them.

Haven't even cleaned the dust filters on my new case yet.. Maybe I should do that..

On my old case I didn't actually have any case fans so not too much dust went in. (It was hotter even with the side panel off than my new case.)

how often to clean your pc i do mine once a month

I use compressed air (the air in a can). I have an Alienware X51 so trying to do anything in the case is hard. Luckily I will be building a new PC soon so cleaning it out will be a breeze (and I can actually tell when I need to clean it). :D

Edit: Whenever I see dust building up.

I recently bought air fllters from my local hardware store that I cut and fitted to cover where the bottom and front fan vents draw air in perfectly and covered all the rear vents and IO ports that I don't use to keep air and dust from getting sucked back in through the back. Keeps dust out the case Perfectly. I shouldn't have to clean for dust for at least 7-12 months. Maybe longer.

Varies. Basically I do it when I have to open up my case for some reason. Otherwise I'm not going to bother going out of my way just to clean it lol

Every other month during the warmer seasons. Then towards the beginning of winter when a warm day pops up, and the end of winter when it's a warm day. If there happens to be a stretch of warm weather throughout winter, I may clean out my computer.

I wouldn't recommend every few months if you use compressed air though, since it'll cost you a pretty penny after a while. Data-Vac's are the only logical choice in that matter.
