Firefox > Chrome. Since quantum was released there is barely any reason to keep using Chrome really.

Only for those who close chrome. I almost never shutdown my PC and just leave Chrome open pretty much 24/7. I really only close it when I'm gaming but frankly, my PC hasn't seen much gaming action lately... So I have to manually keep an eye on this.

I used to use Firefox. I loved it really. It was quite a mental conflict as to whether I should switch or not but I did in the end. As an Android user, it just offers another layer of convenience.

Is Quantum really that great that I should come back to Firefox? I'm open to the idea but I really like Chrome now...

One of the reasons I'm a bit hesitant is that I use Chrome to store all my passwords but I have been considering using another solution for security reasons. It is something I have been meaning to look into.

Quantum is good and all, but the extensions for it are lack luster in performance (looking at you, dark reader!!)

You can export passwords to Firefox, and Firefox has syncing across platforms.

Download it and try it for a day I would say. See for yourself if it is a better or not for you.

It depends on what extensions you use. I use Owl to get bright websites go dark and it is really fast (kind of works like smart invert on iOS). It is not THAT precise on some webpages, but that's the downside of it being quick.
