RTX 2080 vs 2080ti

My monitor is 3440x1440p. Have certain budget for new PC. Should I go with RTX 2080 and watercool whole PC or with RTX 2080Ti and normal cooling for GPU and AIO for CPU. Same price comes for every situation...

Considering AiO is a pile of overpriced garbage and you shouldn't really consider any other CPU cooling aside a beefy Dark Rock Pro 4 if you want the best the most wise decision is indeed spend on the top tier GPU before wasting that extra budget on some 'fancy' cooling system that won't provide you no where nearly as much performance.

or a different air cooler of course. noctua, arctic, cryorig and many more have good ones

 

I would say 2080 without watercooling and a air cooler on the cpu

depends if you want performance or water cooling then, a 2080 ti will beat out any 2080.

no. There are other great air coolers too to consider, NH-D15 and Cryorig R1 to name two.

 

but yah, screw AIOs. i hate how everyone seems to think they need "watercooling"(its pretty much just glycol and anticorosion agents in there with a spash of water)

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

yes! plenty of great alternatives, I just grow a bit tired with Noctua keep forcing the ugliest colour scheme ever onto consumers, I give credit to Be Quiet! coming up with a product that's as good as but with much more aesthetic value.

 

Either ways, Performance > Looks always, I care how my games look on the screen not how the metal running it does! xD
