RX 590 is around 10% faster than the other ones. I definitely wouldn't get the RX 580 though. The armor cards are kinda garbage.

Well if can buy cheaper in norway, then go for it.

I just suggesting that rx580 is the best bang for the buck right now, if you can't wait for the next generation gpu.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

Im about to send in a broken 1060 3GB from ZOTAC, and its such a small price to pay for a upgrate to a 6/8gb card so i'd like to do that.

The question is what i should choose when it comes to upgrade:

RADEON RX 590 FATBOY

MSI Radeon RX 580 8GB Armor OC

ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Dual OC

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

which one is the best upgrade? all are same price point at my local store with 30 bucks between them

A mining used 1070 would also be within range, but i dont know if its worth to get a out of warranty card...

I'd get either of the Radeons as they have more memory and I'd expect them to have a longer lifetime.

Modern AAA Games can go over 6GiB and close to 8GiB VRAM (or more).

If the 590 is that close in price, it's clearly the superior pick. 590 is basically a pretty overclocked 580.

I agree with that, though have to add that its also on an optimized process.

The 590 is 2900NOK(342$), while i get 2400NOK(283$) for the 3gb, so not that much money for the performance i think

How much is VEGA 56??
Here I've seen VEGA 56 for like 309€ on Sale. Normal Price is like 350€ or so

coreclocks arent comparable. different Processing units are being used and the number of them differ.

you can only compare them using benchmarks. the rx 580 being faster in compute and equivelent in games.

I noticed you know the Norwegian prices a bit, and i just got another 1k to my budget so i could possibly spring for a 2060 card.

I was only wondering if it would be any point in doing so since im rocking a puny i5 7400- non k processor.

would the 2060 just be bottlenecked in triple A games in the future?

I run anything with the 1060, i5 combo with medium settings as of now. 180 fps CPU max in FH4, picture for reference if it matters.

Takk på forhånd!

Edit: 9 stutter because of low vram, not RAM or CPU as i sometimes get "low memory" notification on FH4

Nah a 2060 is a nice upgrade. No need to worry about bottlenecking.
