Hacking Nvidia's Drivers!

On task manager, it shows that my system runs on two (2) GPUs; the APU and P106-090. Today, I noticed a video that you made on newer drivers (466.77 etc.) and I tried installing it with no problem after uninstalling the previous one with DDU. Installation is fine but now after I checked task manager, it only detects my APU and not the P106-090, similar to graphics setting where High Performance only detects my APU. But now my APU is now shown to have 4gb of memory instead of 1gb. GPU-Z detects the P106-090 as working fine but on Nvidia Control Panel there is no option for me to select the PhysX like shown in the video. I have yet to game after I installed 466.77 driver to see if there are any differences than the earlier 417.22 driver.

 

So, is this normal because of the APU? Is PhysX really necessary?

That's okay my friend. I've managed to fix it. The problem was that I forgot to edit the AdapterType and EnableMsHybrid. Thanks for the updated driver and tutorial video though.

I have a gt430 as primary video card and 106-100 as second.
In my case higher drivers is 391.01 (because is latest for gt430).
I'm trying some variants of "enablemshybrid" and have no result. Can't see 106-100 as high performance.
"AdapterType" is deleted, in gpu-z 106-100 has a support of DirectCompute
any help please

try this.

-go to device admin.

-disable the gt 430

-try execute a game like csgo or fornite (all games dosent works.).

-when the game is open go to devices admin and enable again the gt 430

-see with the task admin or rivaturner if the game if running with the p106.

If not work make this, execute dolphin https://dolphin-emu.org/download/?nocr=true and write me.

below AdapterType there is EnableMsHybrid double click on it and change 0 to 1 apply then reboot and try to open NVidia control panel  and see if you can select p106 there

I tried several options.

Enable Ms Hybrid 1 only for p106-100

Enable Ms Hybrid 1 for p106-100, 2 for gt430

Enable Ms Hybrid 1 only for gt 430...

no result. 

i don't have a window for select as high performance in NVidia control panel.

And I'm trying to get this option in NCP app from driver 416.16. no result. 

 

Maybe this hack doesn't work with 391.01.

but is higher driver for gt430. 

 

as i understand, the Dolphin can run from second video card directly.

yes i think it doesn't work you need a 4th gen cpu or later and remove the other gpu for it to work or use the motherboard's HDMI don't forget to install the driver for the cpu's igpu

Hi, i bought cheap 6GB P106-90 (for 22USD including shipping) and i need help. with installing the newer 516 driver. Is it same as the older one shown in the video? Also can i do it without testsigning? Can i sign the driver myself with this guide: http://woshub.com/how-to-sign-an-unsigned-driver-for-windows-7-x64/ ???? Also i have Intel HD 4000 as iGPU

 

I'd like to play pubg on it and the retarded anticheat doesn't like testsigning mode...

 

EDIT: Installed the drivers, but furmark still runs on my hd4000 and windows doesn't offer the card in high performance mode

 

I have to disable HD4000 to actually run some games and i only had GTA V run successfully. Others just complain about not having supported gpu and pubg just crashes with invalid access error

Yes, because nothing has changed in the patch method, it's just automation to quickly patch the driver as it is updated.
