Hi , i am thinking of getting a noctua air cooler d15 or maybe a aio not 100% yet but more likely a air cooler. As for the 2080 ti either this one https://www.scan.co.uk/products/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-2080-ti-gaming-oc-11gb-gddr6-vr-ready-graphics-card-4352-core?gclid=Cj0KCQiA7briBRD7ARIsABhX8aD4iZl-SSJLzTFnIR4gxY6-HwN8Q5reHzOjhNLOhlOR-LFirz_e-VcaApD_EALw_wcB or one of the evga maybe the ftw 3 if i can push my budget a bit.

Thanks for the help.

If you're more likely to get an air cooler, you should have no issue whatsoever since the Meshify (Sorry, Messiah) C has a CPU cooler height limitation of 172mm which is above any Air coolers I'm aware of (The NH-D15 is 165mm)

If you're thinking AIO, the FTW3 is 301mm long and the Gigabyte card is 287mm long, which means both are too long (just barely in the case of the gigabyte card) to use an AIO with in the Meshify C. So if you do decide on the AIO, it's best to go with the Enthoo Pro M TG.

Hi,

Hopefuly within the next two months I will be looking to upgrade my system to a 2080ti and a i9900k. My current case is a s340 elite. I was just wondering if I should upgrade the case as well? Ihow will it do for airflow as the system I have in it now doesn’t get that hot at all but I’m s bit concerned if I add more powerful parts, would a messiah c be abit better or any other cases you think I should get?

thanks for the help.

i can agree that its a very nice case but thats a bit far, dont you think? :P

anyway to answer your question i think a new case would be a good edition if you are upgrading anyway, the meshify C should bring down temps

What 2080ti are you getting, and what CPU cooler are you going to use with the 9900k?

The Messiah C, as Holy of a case it may be, cannot fit Long GPU's (over 285mm) and a front mounted AIO radiator for example. If you're going air cooler, you'll have no issues. Should you choose to use an AIO like a 280mm or 360mm for better thermals, I would recommend the Pope (I guess?) The Phanteks Enthoo Pro M TG which will support GPU's over 400mm long without any fans/rads, so with an AIO you have about 330mm of clearance for GPU's. Should be enough for even some of Zotac's ridiculously big cards.

Amen ?

Great thanks for the advice I think I will go air cooler. I’m guessing I have room to fit fans at the front? Just want to double check.

Yes it has 315mm of clearance for GPU's, and that includes the front fan thats already there so you have enough room to put any 120mm or 140mm fans in the front. (There's one 120mm fan already included at the front and 1 in the rear)
