Madrinas Coffee Disappointment

Well here I was thinking that it would be nice to have the Lambo Coffee over the holidays .... yes you read that right ... I placed the order on the 5th of December, was told it would be delayed till after the 28th of December and found out it was not even shipped till the 9th of January, Starting to think i should just cancel the thing as it will be between 6-8 weeks since the order was placed to receive it.

I know there were some issues with the printing of the packaging .. honestly if it came in a brown bag I would have been happy to receive it. I am very disappointed in Madrinas Coffee right now ... I also think it is Bad for LTT (who is based in Surrey) to be dealing with US based locations that know it will cost more to get anything delivered over the border as well as CDN exchange to USD.

I can say that based on how this went ... I will not be ordering from them again.

Do they still cost $10 per can for Canadians.

On my end its UK customs that are the issue, they've held it since 2am GMT (19th of January) last saturday

Keep in mind that while LTT is Canadian and Canadian based, the majority of viewers are US based. 

 

Its pretty much the same with every single sponsor that ships physical products, when it comes to USD pricing plus shipping costs.

IMO, premade to go coffee is never as good as stuff you brew yourself, hot coldbrew or otherwise.  I prefer my 16 oz coffees to be like 10%-15% milk so I usually go with darker roasts because I know it'll be diluted a little from the dairy. All the premades are too expensive for me whether it is Madrinas or Starbucks or whatever.

So it's already shipped? Can you even cancel an order once it's with the shipper? You should have cancelled before the item was shipped, not after. You clearly had more than enough time to think about it. Why would you think it's bad for LTT to deal with a company in a country that likely has a significantly higher viewership count than the country in which they're based? That's not very logical.

Haha, it's not that high is it? Even with shipping factored in it was only $4.50ish a can for me (didn't buy any, but I looked into it). Which, really, isn't a terribly high price when you compare it to the others on the market.

Haha, it's not that high is it? Even with shipping factored in it was only $4.50ish a can for me (didn't buy any, but I looked into it). Which, really, isn't a terribly high price when you compare it to the others on the market.

$37.80 USD for a 12-pack. $3.15 per can or $4.18 Canadian.
