Aftermarket cooling solutions for RTX2070 or GPUs in general?

I'm sort of anal when it comes to how quiet and cool my PC is. I decked my case with Noctua fans, spent a couple of hours experimenting with fan curves, and I'm at a point where I can't hear my PC at all unless I'm in a game or something.

 

Except for my GPU. I'm finding it's idling at 50c with ambient 22c and I'm concerned because the fans are loud and under load I'm hitting 70c. I want to cool it better and make it quieter since the fans only start working around 1200rpm and goes up to 2000+.

 

I looked at the Morpheus 2 which is pretty damn dank, and I could fit two Noctua fans on there for silence, but what other options exist for me? I have a Gigabyte Windforce RTX2070.

I can't remember the cooler, but the youtuber Optimum Tech made a video on an aftermarket GPU cooler that worked pretty well. He compared it to the Morpheus 2.

its a new card, if it has problems why not RMA? 50c idle is normal i think.

full load 70c is not a problem, maybe you can set the fans to 75c.

I've never disassembled a GPU, I wonder the process.

I just watched his video on the M2 and I'm definitely intrigued. Fan flexibility is a must, and the M2 I could pop Noctua fans on there. 15-30c delta is crazy, definitely on my radar once I can conclude it'll work on 2070.

most modern cards idle at 50*C because the fans are not spining at all

I expect such a big heatsink in a well ventilated case to idle cooler than that

before that, try manually set a fan curve to the fans run at idle. That should push temps lower with just software tweaks.

yeah, my rx580 start spinning at 55 without any load, but most of the time at 25% fan speed at 58c (room temp 25-32c).

even when gaming at 70-80c it only spins 75%, never full speed.

i woulda done some planning before hand for this, aftermarket solutions for a gpu cost about 100-150usd + labor, the total cost for a 2070 is now in the 2080 range (699usd), in this case, leaving the fans off on a 2080 probably>2070, that's if you can still return the 2070.
