if you just crapped your vBIOS you could search for it in techpowerup's database first.

ive reflashed the stock bios alot of times. its not the bios

Hello, ive been trying to solve my issue with my 1080ti founders edition and its getting in my nerves lately. So If you could just follow these steps how to help me I made because I cant find a single file on the internet of what I need. The problem is so far I think is a microcontroller firmware. It is not detected on my 1080ti. So if you could upload your 1080ti mcu firmware I would be more than thankful. How to do it? 

1. Download nvflash https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-nvflash/

2. Create a folder on your C : disk called "nvflash64". Place the nvflash64 exe file in that folder. (pictures below)

3. Open CMD with run as administrator and type in the following commands. (pics below) 

4. Once youve done that type in "nvflash64 - -savegmac GMAC.rom"

(pics below) 

5. It should be in that folder nvflash64 or the desktop. 

6. Please post it here then.

(if you have problems doing this please reply to this thread, my gpu is practicly dead without that firmware.)

Did you buy your "1080TI" dirty cheap from some sketchy source ? Could you post a pic of it ?

Everything worked until I ran "MSI AFTERBURNER 4.6 OC SCANNER". In the middle of the oc scanner test it just messed up my gpu, no display no nothing. Here is a pic of gpu-z. Im trying to solve this issue for like 2 weeks.

That GPU-Z screen looks terrible... But i meant from the actual card.

Its been bought from nvidia site. Its a founders edition.

Last time I flashed gpu firmware with nvflash I used completely diffent commands, I think it was:

cd/nvflash64

nvflash64 -6 ROM.rom

y

y

 

and I was done.

 

Edit:

I think I even did: nvflash64 -4 -5 -6 ROM.rom

Its sadly not a bios issue I think, its a microcontroler firmware gone.(MCU)  I tested flashing bios a couple of times.

Thats why im asking for someone hopefully to send theyre MCU firmware like I provided in the steps. I cannot find it anywhere on google.

Did you try it on another motherboard /PCI-E slot ? Just to verify its really an issue with the card itself.

it could be the BIOS chip itself being dead.

Did you know that flashing a graphics card BIOS from within Windows is the fastest way to corrupt the BIOS? You need to do it from the DOS instance like it recommends in basically every card flashing guide.

I tried doing it in DOS, but when I get to that point it shows "no nvidia display adapter found" or something simmilar.

Considering it's able to display in windows.. Are you sure? Are you following the guide where one of the steps is using that hp USB boot creator thing?

Im using an AMD card in another pcie slot to get display, also I was using "rufus" for my usb boot device and nvflash was for dos. Also the 1080ti does not show display at all, not even in bios.

Ah alright. Tried flashing the BIOS from the AMD card, targetting the Nvidia card in the DOS environment?

It doesn't detect the nvidia card in dos and I even tried it using my igpu, still not detected. It only gets detected in windows (when flashing in windows I disabled the gpu)
