Request for suggestion: free local data synchronization software.

This is for synchronizing data between my four computers: the Linux-based home server (more of a backup than synchronization, but guaranteed to be always on and has my mother load of storage space - my entry on LTT Storage Ranking thread really) my main macOS Hackintosh daily driver workstation, my dual socket Windows 10 Workstation high power box, and my MacBook Pro.

 

I don’t want to rely on Internet-based cloud services, everything must be locally hosted within my home network. My home server have enough storage space, and I have almost enough drives to expand it should I need to.

 

Is there any recommendations?

I would like to know how long it would take me to migrate the files from my current AFP/NFS/SMB multi-protocol file sharing system to OwnCloud, or maybe I should leave the shares in place while set up OwnCloud in parallel to that.

Resilio Sync maybe. It has working free version, and paid version with advanced controls like scheduling and selective syncing. I have used it on Windows, Linux and Android. Then there's FreeFileSync which can do real time syncing.
