which is better 2 x gtx 1070ti or 1x rtx2080ti

Currently, have one GTX 1070ti. Saving for a 2080ti, but wonder if it would be cheaper to just get another 1070ti?

2080ti will definitely perform better. Many games aren't optimized for SLI. If you're unhappy with your framerate, I'd recommend waiting for prices on the 2080ti to drop, or just wait for nvidias next gen after this one
