windows 7, 8 or 10?

which do you prefer and why?

 

i wish they made an OS with Window 10s functionality, 8s looks, and 7s simplicity..

 

but since not, my favorite is 8.. just for the looks lol, it is smooth and looks cool

Windows 8 was my first windows, but I still recognize that it's total garbage. I would personally go with Windows 10 myself, but if you're more comfortable with the Windows 7 interface, or you just want legacy support for some older programs, Windows 7 isn't a bad choice at all.

WHAT? Windows 10 basically just took the modern 'tile' aesthetic from Windows 8, and made it legitimately usable. Have we already forgotten about the god awful Windows 8 start menu?

I hated windows 8 so much..Mostly looks wise though.Win 10 is better, in every aspect, but that's my personal preference.

So essentially the poll will have pretty wonky results

No, it was just totally different wich people don't like. That pile of shit its said to be it never was, people tend to exaggerate a bit about that part...

 

And yeah, I've used 8 (kinda) and I liked it. Didn't mind the different start menu. ANd if you know how to use it, it might even be better than 7...

actually, i think i HAVE forgotten it, all i remember was it popped up fully.. i might dual boot just to see..

true, windows 10 is more suited for gaming

You might wanna dual boot for a bit just to get yourself reminded about how Windows 8 is usability wise. I think that the start menu will infuriate you within minutes.

Out of 8 and 10: Go with 10 .

Out of 7 , 8 and 10. Go with 7

 

Really depends on u personaly.

If u dont care about privacy, or control. but want the latest 'stuff' . get 10

if u care about privacy, and full control over ur system, avoid 10. Unless ur prepaird to do a significant amount of alterations using guides, using command promt, and 3rd party software.

Open settings in 8. Now do that in 10.

I start to type settings into my Windows 10 search bar. By the time I type "Se", its predicted that I want to open settings. I hit the enter key, and settings opens. I takes me literally 2 seconds. I'm not sure what you're trying to prove here.
