New Laptop, Not using 1050ti? Using Intel gpu?

Hey.

So I just got my new laptop, And for some reason I did a speed test, and its using the Intel Graphics.. not the 1050ti it has.

How do I fix this?

 

Also, I know there Is a way to make it only use the GPU when its needed, but well use the Intel graphics while its not needed, Like at school any idea?

Have you got all the drivers for the card? And afaik Windows 10 ver 1803 has an option to switch preferred graphics option in the settings, see if you can do anything there

Yea, I think, Came with Ge force Experience, Updated, and restarted.

Sometimes you have to right click a program and select “open with nvidia gpu” for the laptop to use the gpu on the program.

In th bios you can select whether to use the igpu or dedicated i think

Windows 10 should have an automatic graphics switching mode like macOS? Right?

 

Or is that something that has to implemented by the OEM that your laptops doesn't have?

I thoughhhttt. They did, They might, idk, Maybe the test just doesnt use it.. or doesn't recognize it.. idk, Ill try more things tomorrow to tired.

But other people seem to be doing the test fine on there Laptops so idk again.

Go to Nvidia Control Panel and force the program to use dGPU
