If I buy a fully paid off Samsung Galaxy S9+ can I buy my iPhone sim card in it and still have it work?

I'm tired of Apple's ecosystem and I need an upgrade just wondering if I can still use the same sim card from My iPhone 8 Plus.

here in Poland both phones share the same micro sim card, if it is not locked by a carrier then it is ok to swap sims between those 2

First off, if the phone was purchased from a Cellular provide make sure its unlocked. Just to make things simpler. As stated above if your in the US beware of Verizon and Sprint, parts of their network still use CDMA, and may or may not be compatible with the phone. Though my moms Galaxy S7 on Verizon has GSM built in, so Im thinking it might be a non issue.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
