Try looking around for used. If not, look at some of the Blu phones.

Negative, Ghostrider. BLU phones are full of built-in goodies to track and record everything you do, then send it back to God-knows-who in God-knows-where.

I've heard good things about the Nokia 2, and you can't go wrong with the Moto E phones.

Yeah you might check out Motorola they had "Amazon" branded phones that were literally almost vanilla unlocked Android and you could just uninstall the Amazon ad software on them.

I think I got one for $80 to use for a platform for something, not bad at all. So, SD card, CDMA+GSM, Finger print reader, decent specs on vanilla android no contract no fees for sub 100 bucks.. good deal.

Oh wow, that's difficult.

Look for used, would suggest something like the p8 lite or p9 lite (mine) but there's no physical home button.

The only thing I can think of is Motorola.

theres just something about hitting the hard home button whent hings freeze up that just feels satisfying, sorta like slamming down an old phone as apposed to pressing the hang up button

it also works more relieable than some on-screen BS ... when the whole thing hangs so bad the screen stops responding - an on-screen button is useless

If you can stretch a little further you're in Xiaomi redmi note 4 territory... that's what I have and can't recommend it enough.

Most flagships in the Galaxy S5/LG G3 era can be found for >$100 on ebay as "refurbished." Something there might suit your fancy.
