If we're talking about any tablet in that price range, it looks like the ASUS ZenPad 3S is a good candidate. Otherwise up to date Android tablets in the $200-$400 range are lacking.

EDIT: There's also the Huawei M3

They seem to run old versions of Android. Nothing with Oreo, which supports multi tasking

No one makes a tablet like that anymore. Apple is the only one pushinh new product in a decaying market. Otherwise, you're looking at tablets aimed at professional artists.

However, the old Note 10.1 2014 is still pretty good and supported multitasking (IMO better than Google's attempts) since KitKat.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

The Portable Slice of Bread (N270, HAHAHA, 2GB)

Muffinator (C2D E6600, Geforce 8400, 6GB, 8X2TB HDD)

Toastbuster (WIP, should be cool)

loaf and let dough (A printer that doesn't print black ink)

The Cheese Toastie (C2D (of some sort), GTX 760, 3GB, win XP gaming machine)

The Toaster (C2D, intel HD, 4GB, 2X1TB NAS)

With $349 and $145 (41% of the tablet cost!) for the pen i would say $494 is the cost students have to pay. For this price you can get without problems a Windows tablet with Kickstand and pen.

Tablets without pen support for $349 are also no problem.

I dont really need the pen. The pen also costs $99,not $145. But I think I would spend $100 more for the 128gb model instead of the 32gb one.

I dont really want to use windows tablet because it dosent support a lot of apps like instagram ( win 10 version sucks), snapchat, whatsapp and imessage

i Only have android devices id 100% buy the Ipad 2018 at 329 if that was my buget of $350- Android doesnt compete till you get around 450-550  Tab S3 is 450 on samsungs website nice alternative if you really disliked IOS ( Check out to make sure the android tablets have somewhat equal processors if going this route the A10 is pretty good at this price range and some android tablets try to hide the crappy processor specs. )

Even current high-end Android chips have their work cut out for them trying to keep pace with the A10, let alone the lower end chips common in the tablet market.

latest android high end tablet is the mediapad m5 from huawei, available in 8 and 10 inches, with a pro model that includes a pen for drawing and such as well as a keyboard.

All come with Orea 8.0 out of the box. Basic M5 8 inches starts at 350e, the m5 10 inches pro costs about 500e for 4gb of ram+64gb of internal storage and 7500mah battery.

Otherwise that's pretty much all there's in the market that can compete against apple's tablets.

and yes huawei released the m5 to mainly counter apple's tablet offerings so it should match more or less in specs/price.
