How can i be added to iMessage group chats on a Samsung/android?

Simple question: how can i be added to existing group chats made by iMessage users on a samsung?

I have tried many things and i cant figure out how. If you know, i really appreciate it. Also, if the existing name can be kept and can be changed that would be helpful.

Pretty sure iMessage is an iOS/macOS exclusive feature and will likely stay that way for the inevitable future. However there has been efforts by third parties to workaround this, but they've had a few caveats.

• A significant number of them required a companion mac to work.
• This likely goes against Apple's TOS thus they were removed.
• A significant chunk of them only partially worked and were very buggy.

As this is something that might go against their TOS, I won't go into further detail as that may breach our CS

Get whatsapp, then make a group chat there with all the people on the iMessage one. Easiest thing to do.

You can't. iMessage is only supported on iOS and MacOS devices.

 

Solution? Use a platform that properly supports all features on all devices, such as Facebook Messenger, Discord, or Telegram.

The best solution would be to start a group chat through plain SMS (say, have an Android person start the chat) and work from there.  As others have noted, iMessage is Apple's chat system and only works on Apple devices -- it's great if you live in its ecosystem, but it's proprietary.

Thats what i would do, but everyone i know are too stubborn to even care anymore if i do that. Thanks everyone, though.
