CPU, QUANTUM CPU!!!!

so i have a friend who watnts to build a computer for btw mining, gaming and basically everything but he has said something that he wants to have a quantum cpu but I don't understand him. Could someone plz explain to me this and/or create a good build for gaming, btw mining and everyday use which is cost effective but very powerful

You can only get those from d wave as of right now. And they cost a few million if not billion dollars... plus no os probably actually runs on it...

You're not going to get good mining in a gaming build. Good mining means racks of GPUs in a dedicated system. I can draft you a build for gaming if you have a budget.

well, he just wants a powerful pc like i mine with one gnu which doesn't get much but still. he wants more of a mining build

quantum cpus are very expensive and basically unobtainable and impractical for the public. quantum computing which is what quantum cpus are made for require very specific programming and wouldn't help with anything but really complex problems with more than once answer.

best bet would be a computer with a good cpu for the gaming and a gtx 1070 as it is the least price inflated of all the decent mining gpus.

He could wait for the 580s to go down in price and pick up a 2 or 3 way SLI build with them. Or do the same with Vega.

well yeah but most likely the price wont go down on the rx 580s until mining profitability goes down and then it kinda defeats the point of waiting. better off getting the best you can now and start mining and earning earlier.
