I still haven't seen any cases of these "Issues" from real people. Only synthetic tests.

this is getting out of topic, OP get an XPS 15 for something powerful and light but professional, aero 15 for gaming and pro work , XPS 13 for normal computing use.

honestly the only thing i see being difficult to do with op's use case is the 3d modeling so I would suggest getting a laptop with some sort of dedicated gpu. it doesn't have to be super nice but even the 940mx would do the job and give a noticeable performance difference compared to intel integrated gpus.

Should have seen the old HP laptop I took apart from back when Intel used PGA sockets. Significantly more difficult than doing anything on the new Macs.

One would think that a product from a company that isn't very 'Right to Repair' friendly wouldn't be easily repaired by someone who isn't trained to do so.

blender i make some models for games. this isant the focus of the laptop but i will use it for this, i use the unreal engine to make some game and the models in blender
