Looking for a scanner

So I got lots of photos to scan and I wanted a recommendation for a good one that isn't over 250$. Resolution is important.

Good luck, Have fun, Build PC, and have a last gen console for use once a year. I should answer most of the time between 9 to 3 PST

NightHawk 3.0: R7 5700x @, B550A vision D, H105, 2x32gb Oloy 3600, Sapphire RX 6700XT  Nitro+, Corsair RM750X, 500 gb 850 evo, 2tb rocket and 5tb Toshiba x300, 2x 6TB WD Black W10 all in a 750D airflow.

I just used a Canon CanoScan LiDE220 to scan around three thousand family pictures and was pretty impressed with both the hardware and software.  Great resolution with good speed and the auto-scan button/feature actually works flawlessly.

The only flaw I've come across is you need to run the software installer as a administrator or else the front panel buttons don't work perfect but other than that it's great for the price.

Probably too late, but I'd also recommend the LiDE220. I have the super overkill CanoScan 9000F Mark II and it's quite the beast, but indeed overkill. It does scan super fast though. For photos / drawings, the LiDE is more than good enough.

 

I'm waiting for canon to make a larger scanner...I want to use larger paper for my drawings but the only really scanner out there is the Epson one that's super high in cost...

yeah in the end we found a local place that would do it for cheap and do color corrections.
