CUSTOM LIQUID COOLING TUBE

Hi guys i was planning to build a pc recently and i was thinking about buying an AIO for my cpu

but i saw a kit from EK just now —— The EK Fluid Gaming A240

i was thinking about purchasing it because it's only 159 usd

they comes from some soft tubes but i really likes hard tube

is it ok to change those tubes to hard tubes?

i doesn't mean changing the tubes in the kit but buying extra hard tubes from ek

i don't really know how liquid cooling works so im not sure if i can do that

if you change the tubes will also need to swap the fittings. You cant use flex fittings on rigid tubing

Make sure you use fittings in the same metal as your other WC components, as mixing say copper and aluminium will speed up the process of galvanic corrosion

You can use new fitting + tubes, cost about $6ish per fitting and you need 6 fittings so about $40+ and then like 20 bucks on tubing.

Oh wait crap.  You can't use hardline with the A240 as the fittings need to be aluminum.

 

EK is releasing some aluminum hardline fittings later this year, wait for that or destroy your own loop.

you will need to swap the fittings for aluminium ones that work with whatever ridget tube you want
