Are we allowed to use VPNs on the forum?

I use betterment on my phone because my school basically blocks everything, am I allowed to use a VPN on here?

I don't see why not. It's just a proxy and maybe encryption making you appear to come from somewhere else.

TunnelBear, a VPN service, is one of LTT's main sponsors. It would be strange for them to not be allowed. They may be against your school's rules though. 

 

I use a VPN pretty much all the time. As far as I know, there's no way for LTT to even know if you are using a VPN. To them I'm just some guy from Sweden right now.

Yep. I use a VPN 95% of the time on my PC as well.

Yes, There is no reason why using a VPN shouldn't be allowed. After all they are sponsored by TunnelBear!
