Becouse Fiber optic is the only thing to have.

I just have 60/60 but i can upgrade to 400/400 or 1000/1000 if the amount of money is right :)

ISP : Smart Broadband

Supposedly : Up to 2mb down

I hit 1.75mbps maxdown/ 0.40 maxup

 

now after some weeks, they changed the policy and now there is bandwidth limitation so its not unlimited now.

I am paying for 30Mb and I hit on average 31, so it's not that bad. I was on 60Mb I used to hit between 55-70Mb and even downloading at 10Mbs sometimes. It's a shame about the upload speed though but Virgin Media maintain that they are upgrading the D/L speed at this time and U/L speed later on next year. 

Furthermore, if I test the speed on a local server (Liverpool) the ping is through the roof (around 90ms) and results are usually outside the margin of error.

Not a bad speed for me this morning over in England. Uploads low normally around the 10mb/s
