Nyaa.se also shut down, but it only took a week for a new one to pop up. (can't remeber the name.)

While they had arguably the most seeds out of all torrent sites for some things, their page was your worst nightmare unblockable bullshit ad fiesta. Not to mention redirections. 

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

Many are shutting down, the pressure is too great and as a result my HDD collection has grown exponentially "collecting" what i can now. 

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

It's literally the same thing, except .si instead of .se .

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

ya well I forgot the TLD and I am at work. but the interesting thing is apparently the owner decided to stop out of the blue.

well it seems to look and work the same and i hope that everything from .se is stil there :/ 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

well i hope that what i usiually look for is around still, i tend to torrent some 400eps to have during summer holidays so nyaa.se was crusial in that plan seeing as they have the most extensive library i know of

Adware.Ghokswa and Adware.Elex, etc., sure loved my previous installation of W10...

 

Not even movies i can watch without getting attacked :(

He may have got spooked by recent developments and future draconian anti piracy laws that were about to pass.

Steam + Netflix (and similar offers) have basically outclassed torrents at this point, it's why I think they'll continue to shrink in popularity but won't disappear since people in weaker economies are very unlikely to move to even affordable digital content.

I do find myself streaming videos from Netflix that I have in my personal collection, because it's easier to keep my place as I move my computer around to different locations during the day.

 

Hope the Team UTR finds another new home Joybell's file size to quality is perfectly balanced and replaced a lot of aging DVD based AVI rips.

i live in venezuela, piracy is literally the only source of digital content that is accessible to the masses (with the exception of movie theaters) because well what can you do when you can barely even buy food much less buy foreign currency, can't wait to piss off out of this place soon. -____-
