The hell asus?

I'm just playing gta with my friend, everything normal, the room is cold etc. Suddenly my laptop decide to shut it self down then there's a clicking noise, is this something with the hardware? I guess if this is a common issue with asus laptop, i'll probably sell this laptop. Thx

If you're looking for help, you'll need to provide a lot more information than this.

Probably a hard drive failing, but... it could be any number of things.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

Clicking noise could be a fan failed (possibly thunking against it's guard trying to spin) or a hard drive failure.

the fan failure would cause a thermal shut down even if the room is cold - heat just keeps building without being expelled from the case.

Do you have hwmonitor on the computer to check temperatures?

Is it a repetitive clicking noise or just a single click and then dead?

Has this happened multiple times or just the once?

Do you have an SSD + HDD or just HDD?

Were you plugged in to your power brick or did you potentially run out of battery without realizing it?

What have you tried already?

We need information bro.  "It made a clicking sound" is not a lot of information.
