Yeah, it was Henry Ford not Hitler, just a shame its not true. The model T wasn't even available in black until it had been out for a few years.

Put a lcd screen with something scary on it on one wall. Every time the go to run off they would smack into a wall and not know it was coming.

I wonder if this can be tuned in such a way that cars can use it for heat-resistance without compromising visibility of the paint beneath it. It would be a greatly appreciated product here in Florida.

Imagine coating warships & aircraft with that stuff. 

 

Would probably fuck with radar & range finding equipment. Not to mention all you'd see is a silhouette which would make distance, direction, and speed virtually impossible to determine and you would have difficulty targeting vulnerable spots as you wouldn't be able to see them.

As someone who has had a dark car, this would be just about the worst thing I could imagine "painting" a car with.  Wouldn't be able to touch the damn thing in the summer.  Swear I got 2nd degree burns on my ass from leather/pleather seats, and some times wished I has oven mitts just to grasp the door handle.

 

As for draping the walls of a room with it, I'd be down with that if it weren't for all the day theme users quoting screen shots. Probably bright enough to overcome the nanofabric and charge a solar panel placed behind it.
