How I plan my builds -

For me I start with the "There's no way I'm not gonna spend $1,000 on a system."

Followed by the "Wow I need to buy the OS for a $100!?"

Then "Let's start with the 'best budget GPU' and 'best budget CPU' that actually fits what I think is my budget."

Realizing my budget is a lot less, I work my way to "I think these new games will run on a cheap ass CPU."

Then end with "The new parts launching next year is probably gonna be better and faster for the same price so I'll just buy next year."

even though it might not perform as well as a dual-slot AIB card or an AIO slot card, would be nice to see a comparison review of sorts.

They don't seem to exist anymore or their web address has changed. It's parent company TUL makers PowerColor still exist.

2 of these in an HTPC system would be nice. Underclock them a little if heat is an issue, I like the aesthetic of the card.

All cards should have the ability to be single slot, with dual slot cards available for the very few who need a 4th/5th monitor.

For those of us that want or need to use expansion slots that get blocked off by most cards. It's a bigger issue on consumer platforms than X99, but it can prevent someone from adding an expansion they could benefit from. Especially if they get a board that is short on something like SATA or USB and other boards aren't viable to them.

 

At the very least, it's nice to still have options.

Agreed, they'd have been better off with like 3xDP and one HDMI or something. DVI takes up too much space.

I saw that card on the KFA2 side of Galax about a week ago. The link doesn't work anymore but it was literally that exact card. I guess its now news
