Should I get a used pc or new?

Hello everyone and thanks if you help!

Im not sure if i should buy a used pc or build my own, my budget is 750 cad (with taxes, shipping, and os)

Used pc: FX-8320E, GTX 970, 2tb hard drive, 32 gigs of ram, win 10, and he isn't sure if it has a 250gb or 500gb ssd, it's all that for 750, or maybe build one with worse part but upgrade eventually. I will be using it for graphic design and also gaming (not too much gaming tough)

HELP!

i would assemble my own used parts if thats your budget. you could get a 6 core X58 Xeon instead of the FX chip, neither one has an upgrade path but i would expect the Xeon to whop the FXs ass lol

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I'd go with the used deal, and perhaps sell the card and buy something else.

It should do well for what you want to use it for.

You won't get quite as much power out of buying new. I was pricing out a PC to last me until I can get mine out of storage, and for $850 I got a G4560, 8GB of RAM, a 525GB SSD and an RX470.

Although I really like my AMD's, I do have to agree with Dexxterlab97. That motherboard/CPU combo has no upgrade patch there, and considering your budget, I personaly would want a viable upgrade path for that money.

However... There are loads of good used computers that's worth your money. So you might want to look for another used computer, with an Intel CPU. (no Intel fan, so ask other people what kind of motherboard you would need) Keep also in mind that you can buy used parts, and build an entire pc from that. That's how I got my pc. (yes, it's old but it also is cheap and does what I need it to do)
