Which RX 480 8GB?

Richtofen_

I am about to buy the RX 480 (I have always been wanting the 1060, but the RX 480 is just better for the value, I guess.) And I am a bit torn on which brand I should get.

My first choice was this one here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MSI-Radeon-RX-480-DirectX-12-RX-480-ARMOR-8G-OC-8GB-256-Bit-GDDR5-PCI-Express-3-/302113621997?hash=item46576007ed:g:-j4AAOSw4shYB3Ci

I wouldn't really care how loud it is as long as it does not run like a jet engine. I would like for it to be under $270 as I have seen some RX 480s go for as high as $280 for pointless features.

Cannot do triple fans or single fans (if that even exists)

Give us the build since some RX 480s can't fit in some cases, and I want to see which CPU you have and which PSU you have.
That one is mediocre to bad, would recommend a XFX/Strix/Gaming X.

EDIT: AFAIK that RX 480 went below 200 bucks, but at 220 I'd just pick that one up cause current pricing sucks :S
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137048&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker, LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= you can pick it up for 208 USD here.

I am actually on a prebuilt PC right now. Here is the PC I bought: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Acer-Aspire-ATC-710-UR53-Desktop-Computer-Intel-i7-16GB-RAM-2TB-HD-Win-10-/132036926987?hash=item1ebe039e0b:g:OPcAAOSwEzxYVLba

I am installing a EVGA 600w 80 Plus PSU in the PC also. It has a i7-6700 at 3.2 gHz.

Wow for 500 USD that computer is a steal.
The PSU will work just fine.

Only GTA V is better on the 1060. Overall the 480 is better, as 8GB 480s are less than 6GB 1060s, have more VRAM, and perform better in most titles. Plus FreeSync is much cheaper than G-Sync, and AMD cards get better over time.

Nope. Battlefield 1 as well. (When using DX11 with the 1060 and DX12 with the 480)

Nope. Performs better in newer/DX12 games. The 1060 performs better in 2015 and older titles.

NOT AGAIN. They age better because they have more vRAM and better DX12 support. FineWine is a thing mostly because they don't make drastic changes to their architecture...

Yes, unless you can find a 1060 for less. (They are equal in terms of performance)

Shadowplay comes free with Nvidia GPUs and it is part of the Nvidia Drivers. But, AMD has ReLive now which is competing with Shadowplay.....
