Arctic silver 5 or Noctua NT-H1?

Techicolors

so i've been running my 4.6ghz 4690K with the arctic silver 5 for several months with the Noctua U14S cooler, but i would like to try out the nt-h1 the cooler came with. is there an appreciable difference between the silver 5 and the nt-h1?

temps with the silver 5: 28-32 c idle, 58-68 c full load stress ; 50% fan speed

Not really unless you have other things to do while the case is open.

i even thought of changing the paste on my 1070, but removing the hybrid cooler again will probably take longer than removing the Noctua cooler..

We're talking a potential 1-2 degree cooling difference if that.

Opposite for me, NH-T1 dropped temps by around 2c compared to the AS5 i used. Still, agreed with not really worth trading unless you have to remount or install a new cooler and got the paste for free.

Not really asides from the experience with how they apply. I personally prefer NT-H1 because of this but you'll find that people prefer the other for the same reason.
