Dell is about to reveal a convertible version of the XPS 13 with edge-to-edge display in CES 2017? (update: revealed in CES 2017)

Back in Oct 2016, Dell confirmed that they were working on a convertible 2 in 1 version of the XPS 13, and would be announced in CES 2017. It seems Dell could reach its original target.

Windows Central discovered an image and blank product page on Dell's website about a new notebook called "XPS 13 2 in 1", not much was known about the new machine as it is a blank product page. But from the image, it seems the new laptop would still feature the Infinity Edge display, and the laptop will turn to tablet mode by folding the screen backward via a 360° hinge, not via flipping the screen like the old XPS 12 which Linus owned. Windows Central suggested that we could expect a similar config with the Kaby Lake version of the XPS 13.

We could know more about this new laptop if Dell included this in its CES 2017 line up.

They really need to fix the chin-cam instead of churning out the same design over and over again. They might as well just remove the web cam altogether then. I realize it might be hard to do from an engineering standpoint but they need to find a way.

Agreed.

As someone who owns a convertible like this, it's only ok.
