5400rpm vs 7200 rpm Hard Drives

Solved by DeScruff,
As a storage drive, Yeah it work fine. Use em all the time for backup drives or files that I only need once in a blue moon.
As a drive you record straight to.... I'd think it be fine? Even old WD Greens were able to have sequential writes of ~70MB/s and should be fast enough for recording all but the highest quality video.
If your gonna be editing that video from the drive... Speed is always nice. I mean there is a reason LTT used a 24 SSD server.
