which amd r9 card is this and what are the clock speeds

what are the clock speeds on your 660?

I'm downloading it to test on my Core 2 Duo T5500, Then I'll update this post when I get my APU rig built.

Well, for a 9 year old laptop the results are terrible.

if you post a score using the basic preset rather than a custom one then you will be the first person with a basic score. :)

doc updated to the end of page 41.

I run my GTX 660 at 1036 mhz with a boost of 1098. 65 degrees is the max I've hit in unigine valley.

What percentile of 780s would you consider my valley score of 3515 to be?

you can try what i did

make a custom resolution at 1920x1080, change to that res and then run extreme HD, it'll look bad on your monitor if it's not 1080+, but will be at 1920x1080

edit:

reran it with bit higher clock and got this result:

cpu: core i5 4670k @ 4.3ghz

gpu: 780 lightning (LN2 mode) 1171 / 1924

fps: 77.9

score: 3257

how is this?

you can run the basic preset if you cant run the extreme HD preset.

Memory clock? That affects Valley scores a lot. The core is very nice for those volts, good job winning the lottery.

Memory around 8ghz

i think you should change the settings a bit

it says it's custom and running at ultra

afaik you're supposed to run it at preset extreme HD, so the bench is the same for all

but don't know if that changes the score

try it, you might get higher score!

please use the extreme preset, also overclock your memory on the gpu as this will get you a much higher score. :)

i think it's coz you set the settings by yourself?

in the valley program, the top 2 settings should be

Language: whatever you want

Preset: Extreme HD

and then all the next ones should be greyed out and you shouldn't be able to change it

but i guess if you run it at 1920x1080 at 8xAA and ultra quality, it's probably the same, since those are the settings that the Extreme HD preset option sets
