but i guess if you run it at 1920x1080 at 8xAA and ultra quality, it's probably the same, since those are the settings that the Extreme HD preset option sets

the scoring is slightly different, i have tested.

i'm not sure why you are getting a lower score than you should be. at those clock i would expect it to be getting over 51fps.

I'm not either I have to tweak around with the clock speeds even more to see what I can pump out of my GTX 770 I know there is more room for it to grow

it might be because your cpu is clocked so low.

That is incredibly low for 2 KPEs in SLI, even if your CPU and GPUs are at stock.

well, i dont know what to tell you. it might be a bios flash for the mobo or the low ass 1600mhz ram, im getting new ram later on tho, 1866

Might be I know nothing ever reads my CPU speed correctly unless its CPU-Z or Asus AI Suit. I need to learn how to overclock haswell more before I go an start benching again to see if the score improves

Ram won't do anything, as would your motherboard. I have a feeling your cards are power starved. Are you on the stock BIOS- normal or LN2?

Intel Core i7-2600k @ Stock (can't OC atm, due to cooling limitations)

Gigabyte Geforce GTX 670 Windforce

Core clock: 1332.6 mhz

that is a good core clock :). to get a higher score you'll need a higher memory clock as this benchmark like faster memory.  :)

Hehe, yeah. Unfortunately I wasn't really able to get it any higher, at least not without doing something else, perhaps like overvolting. Which is not something I'm really all that comfortable with, at least not in it's current state, with regards to cooling. In fact, I'm incredibly impressed it's even able to keep remotely cool as it is. That Gigabyte windforce cooler is pretty damn good, it would seem.

Still I'm very happy with the results I got, especially since I've never really done any overclocking before (I started yesterday and spent like an hour on fine-tuning). I'm still pretty impressed at how easy it seems to be, I've been holding off for far too long due to being scared of killing off my GPU. :P

i havent touched the switches, so its prob stock, would it be better if i switch them to nr 2? i only have the original coolers on. my first ever kingpin cards so i dont know what im doing:P

its very hard to kill anything these days unfortunately. there are too many thermal protections and over current protections :(. you could lower that core clock a bit and run the memory higher. with it at 1250mhz on the core and nearer 1650mhz-1700mhz on the memory, i think you would get a much higher score. i think i ran mine at 1228/1750

Maybe I'll try that later, just for the fun of it. :P

It probably wont make that much of a difference, but does reducing the core clock slightly to increase the mem clocks increase performance in other places (like games) as well? I really have very little knowledge about these things.
