Can someone help me out for school. Been stuck for 1 day. Issue with my Windows Server 2012.

Hey forum,

 

I've been stuck for the past day. I have 2 servers, both running Server 2012.

 

They had to be part of the same domain, which I did. I'm now at the part that server 2 needs to get AD DC like server 1 has.

 

So I install it and then need to configure it. The issue I've been having is this:

I googled around, but what I find I just don't understand. I'm pretty much still at the beginning stage. 

My school book didn't doesn't get this issue, so I can't use that.

 

Can someone help me out?

were both PCs on when you got this? if not turn on only the one you need to install it on, if it was just the one that was on have both on and try again. im not too good at this but thats the first thing i could think of

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

active directory servers need to be the DNS server so you have to install the DNS role first. then it should let you install AD role
